European VAT on imported goods / Import One-Stop-Shop VAT
The IOSS (Import One-Stop-Shop) scheme is a simplified VAT reporting scheme for foreign businesses selling goods to consumers in the EU. The number consists of 10 digits prefixed by the code IM.
This identifier follows a strict format, here represented as X = alphanumeric character, A = letter, 0 = digit, and # = alphanumeric or special character (*, +, ?).
