The Vergi Kimlik Numarası is the Turkish tax identification number used for businesses. The number consists of 10 digits where the first digit is derived from the company name, and the last digit is a check digit.
This identifier follows a strict format, here represented as X = alphanumeric character, A = letter, 0 = digit, and # = alphanumeric or special character (*, +, ?).
