Danish VAT number / CVR-nummer
The CVR-nummer is a unique identification number for legal entities in Denmark. The number consists of 8 digits, and includes a weighted checksum algorithm. The number is also used for VAT purposes, and is prefixed by the country code DK when used for intra-EU transactions.
This identifier follows a strict format, here represented as X = alphanumeric character, A = letter, 0 = digit, and # = alphanumeric or special character (*, +, ?).
