The OIB (Osobni identifikacijski broj, Personal Identification Number) and PDV (Porez na dodanu vrijednost, Value Added Tax) are unique identification numbers for individuals and legal entities in Croatia. The number consists of 11 digits prefixed by the country code HR, with the last digit being a check digit.
This identifier follows a strict format, here represented as X = alphanumeric character, A = letter, 0 = digit, and # = alphanumeric or special character (*, +, ?).
